Vault CDs

Fans of The Godz and Eric Moore are trumpeting this collection of rare and unreleased recordings. Among the treasures are demos, outtakes, and live cuts, plus "new" songs destined for albums that never saw the light of day. Many of these make up the missing pieces of the Godz puzzle, filling-in the gaps between "official" releases. The quality of the music is undeniable and proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that The Godz have earned a place in the history of American rock and roll.

Mongolians Re-issued!

SINCE DAY ONE IN 1976, The Godz have epitomized the very essence of rock and roll, fronted by the legendary Eric Moore, a self-described "old hippie, a hillbilly that can shoot straight." Though a number of well-known musicians have served in the band's ranks - some more than once - Eric Moore has remained the constant driving force, with a little help from legions of followers worldwide known as "Machines." Tales of booze, guns, fast women, fast cars, motorcycles, life and freedom are the hallmarks of their songs, and judging by their latest album, "Last of the Outlaws," not much has changed except a few of the names. Buy it now from record stores worldwide, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and others.

ALSO FROM FnA Records comes perhaps the most sought-after recording by The Godz, Mongolians, lovingly re-mastered and available at a reasonable price. One of the best-selling independent albums of 1987, Mongolians, by all accounts should have propelled the band to greater success. From the first track to the last, there are no weak songs and you find yourself wondering why it was not a major smash hit, spawning a boatload of hit singles.

What a sad commentary then, that a simple lack of promotion and support from the record label caused it to fall short of its potential. In spite of the odds, Eric Moore and Co. hit the road as they always had, touring with notable artists like Metallica. Not surprisingly, Mongolians went on to become a highly desirable addition to record collections, a batch of heavy-duty songs prized by record enthusiasts and Godz fans alike.

Locating a copy often involved driving great distances to vinyl record shows and / or seeking out record shops specializing in vinyl, a task made more difficult by the dwindling number of record and CD stores. The computer age made searching for lost relics easier but not always cheaper, as in the case of Mongolians with mint LPs fetching up to $30.00 and CDs between $50.00 and $70.00. Thanks to FnA Records, gone are the days of shelling out that kind of cabbage for this Godz gem. Own your copy of the re-mastered Mongolians today! Fan Packs and Super-Fan Packs also available.
